Sorry for being gone for a while, but I was tired from all the excitement surrounding my book. Now that that has cooled down (a bit too much for my liking…), I am back to writing my ghost romance.
I wrote my first 1200 words in more than a months time and hopefully more to come!
Same as in my life teenagers are running amok and the adults have to clean up the mess. However, all the teenagers are ghosts. Love is blossoming amongst the adults, but the teenagers are proving that all-consuming love is no fun. One of the teens got killed by her first crush who was a ghost at the time.
Complicated? Yes, not only for them but also for me, the writer!
What do I mean by that? Well, this book is fueled with fae, Gods and Goddesses, and yes a dog named Apple.
I got a chance to speak to Tinke Peeters yesterday and she assured me this would be a fun read. I took her up on that because well I love all of these things.
Now let me tell you I am not into YA on a good day. There is nothing about YA that normally interests me, but because the writer took the time to reach out to me. I was going to give the time to give her book a shot. I was not disappointed.
I will say this here and now though, there were characters in the book that I was dang would totally be awesome if this was a PNR and I got to see Hades naked. But I’m a pervert and that was only in my brain.
I feel YA lovers will get a kick out of this book, I did. It was fun, it was interesting and it brought a little of suspense and Mystery into play.
Apollo was late and the sun started to burn the world. Cerberus Hades dog passed away. It was a sad day, and Hades was pissed. Don’t blame him in the slightest. I am a fan of any animals and no one should die like that. Apollo had a reason for it though. You may be asking what that is, but I feel like that is a part left unsaid until you read the book.
This book was really good for the first start, I think just a tad bit more editing to take out some repeated phrases this book would be absolutely amazing. It gave me another look as YA and for that I am grateful, it may not be something I would run out to buy but that is because I love a little-closed door action.
The world building is awesome though, I love reading about where the gods lived and their society. The relationships they have formed in Teeke’s mind is really interesting as well. How they have their own form of school and teachings.
I love that the children of the god’s don’t necessarily have the same powers as their parents, and not only that the side characters were an interesting read on top of that all.
If you have KU it’s free right now, if not it’s still only $2.99. It’s a great price for the read. Go check it out, the link is at the top!

Loved this book from start to finish. The characters are funny and enjoyable, especially the little Fae! It’s a great book for the tweens and doesn’t contain any graphic content. I can’t wait to see what the author writes next!
